CAVE KINGDOM
Max sat in his cave all alone. This was just how he liked it—his space was calm, quiet, and he had built it all by himself.
His little sister, Joy, was anything but quiet.
PINECONE BOOTS
Just then, Max remembered his own boots.
He tried wiggling his toes the way he did in his play shoes. But he still couldn’t.
“These boots are too stiff!” he thought, as he felt his face getting hot.
